My name is Leigh Ann and I am the Director of Rainbow Nursery School. I have worked at Rainbow for the last 16 years teaching in all of the classrooms, taking over as Director in 2017. I have two boys, both of whom went to preschool here, and are now in college and high school. Some of my passions include kayaking, hiking, and spending time at the beach, curling up in my hammock with a good book, spending time with my family and friends, and being silly with the little ones! To say I’m blessed is an understatement, this has been my home for the last 16 years and I can 100% say I love my job!
A Bible verse I often repeat to myself daily: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean now on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).

Sherrie serves as the Assistant Director. She has been with Rainbow Nursery School school since 1999 and has served in various teaching positions in her tenure. She received her BA from University of Louisville and previously worked in the health insurance industry. She married her high school sweetheart, Richard. Together they have a daughter, Laura, and two curious golden retrievers, Emma Sue and Winston. They attend Southeast Christian Church where they actively serve in the Encounter Care group for cancer patients and family members.
Sherrie’s favorite Bible verse is Matthew 7:7; “Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you.”
